The Peer Network is an organized Community of Successful Recovering Ex-Offenders, and all who wish to live crime free and drug free lives, whose members serve in various capacities which include: Role Models, Mentors, Information Reps, Pathfinders, Volunteers, Recovery Advocates, Sponsors and Presenters at Peer Support Group Meetings. The focus is Raising the Foundation of Living. The Peer Network will support and encourage newer members by sharing with them our experiences, aspirations, and our successes. The undeniable proof that living crime free and drug free is possible. Our members have built a strong recovery support system, developed successful work habits and a satisfying relationship with God and others. We are on the Path to Recovery and Restoration.
The Winners Circle Community is a State and National Network of Recovering Ex-Offenders and those in the Community who want to live crime free and drug free lives. Texas Department of Criminal Justice Treatment Initiative is promoting the Winners Circle as the National and State support center to start networking and helping other groups.
WCPSN of Texas Unsung Hero award is given to individuals who have exceeded the attribute of dedication. This award is given to those individuals who advocated, supported, implemented, changed and/or helped to destroy barriers that have blocked formerly incarcerated people or people who desire a positive change.
